The ring neck dove is very populare because they have a very beautiful and aerodynamic form and an amusing call. The are sometimes called laughing doves because their call can be described as Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha.

Date: 2010-02-27 19:00:08 Poster Risk Level: Low User Advertisement: Well, I adopted a family of 5 doves.So I came home and put the 5 of them into my flight cage I thought they were all females and i have been told females ( hens) normally get along in groups.Well I noticed alot of pecking and bowing and cooing.So, it turned out 2 were males.I did find some stackable cages and my husband ispretty handy so he put some dividers in the middle.The cages are 30x30.So so far all has been well.The males were just showing some aggressiveness toward one another and they were pestering the 3 females. Marty's Thoughts That is so neat. I have to be honest that I have never even seen something like that. Do you think these doves will ever get along with each other? It sounds like you have an awesome setup.
